TRPC budget approved

THE 2009 budget for Tring Rural Parish Council was approved at their January meeting. There will be a modest 2% increase to the salaries of the Clerk and the Village Warden. Other provisions in the budget include a sum of £5,000 for essential repairs to the Long Marston village hall, and £1,000 towards the replacement of the doors at Wilstone village hall. The parish precept (local tax) will be increased by 2% to help pay for this, but even so this remains at under £16 per household.
